Default China

Howdy ya'll just got back from china where I spent almost 2 weeks. I guess ya'll dont want me to preach to you about how you should maybe try a different cruise then the ones in north america. However, I wasnt too keen on going to China, I thought Id be bored all the time etc. However, the week we spent in beijing was spread evenly between going to the olmpics, and doing tours, like climbing the great wall. Then we went on a littlerivership fora 4 night cruise dwn the yahtzee river, with just 50 passengers on the ship it was ovbiously very different to past cruises have some benefits, forexample, ou could sit on the top deck during the day and have it all too yourself. Then we closed the trip with a few nights in shangai.

Badly pieced together or what! However, I consistently peoples signatures who have ben on a number of different cruises, yet probably dont even have a passport, North America is only one continent on this vast Globe and I would urge you, if given the opportunity that you travel and explore as many different cultures and countrys as possible P.S. you can also get electrical goods reallly cheap

Being one with a large number of cruises on here, I can say that I have left the continent of North America and that I am extremely open minded about traveling...cruising is just one way to enjoy traveling; land vacations can be just as good if not better too.
By the by, I do have a passport.

Yep, London 2012 is sure gonna be huge, with the amount of money being spent on it, it sure better be, and it seems likely 2016, will be held in Chicago which will likely, be cool also.

haha sorry james. i forgot to answer your question. the people to people student ambassador program. a teacher nominates a student each year to go on a trip that a group of students throughout the US take each and every year. once you have been nominated you have the oppotunity to go every time they send you a letter. i have been offered to go to: ireland, great britian, london, italy, europe, spain, sweden, australia and alot more. i havent ever been able to afford the trip due to i didnt have a job and didnt start saving up early. this time i have and im going to do fundraisers and stuff to be able to go. its a 16 day trip to australia this time. you get to do all kinds of things and stay with a homestead family for 2 days. your are exposed to pure culture during your stay. its truely an experience of a lifetime.

They were going to put Olympic Stadium on the West Side of Manhattan (where Guiliani wanted to move the Yankees to), and Olympic Village in the Long Island City section of Queens. And they were going to use arenas that already exist, such as Yankee Stadium and Madison Square Garden. I have copies of the subway map of NYC's 2012 Olympic Bid. (2 things changed since that 2005 map, the N now goes all the way to Coney Island, and they got rid of the 9 train.)

Anyway, a cruise to China and the surrounding area sounds pretty interesting.

kinda. but we only stay with a family for like 2 days. the rest of the time we are with the other delegates mostly staying in a hotel. and i am far from being like really smart..haha i mean i have all A's and B's but im no genious. its basically your gpa, your grades throughout middle and highschool, and how highly your recommended by your teacher for international travel. so thats just a list of a few things they look at.

ive only been there for highschool. i was nominated for the program back in middle school. ive been receiving the letters since i was 13. just because i have one teacher doesnt mean much anyways because of the fact that i teach myself 90% of the stuff that i learn. i ask for help occasionally but i have done alot of things on my own.

yea pretty much. but the grades are 1st-12th. im a senior this year. =) yay! but its like the homeschooling program we just go to school everyday. but i go from 830-noon. not too bad. i get senior leave so thats always a plus =)) but we generally teach ourselves and if we need help we can ask. to get one credit we have to take 12 tests in that one subject. if its half a credit only 6.

yea i guess. but not every school here is like that. we have normal public schools, private schools and then magnet schools. i have to go to the school i go to because of my sister. she has adhd and cant handle normal curriculum. she is 14yrs old in the 8th grade but doing like 5th&6th grade work. thats just about the only plus of this school.
