I am hopefully goin on a cruise over Thanksgiving 2008, but i have no idea which ship to go on. I have done a lot of research and still am split. Thanksgiving is from Nov. 22 - 30. And my family has to leave from Port Canaveral (maybe fort lauderdale). But yea does anyone have ANY suggestions for a cruise for that week (6+ nights)???????? ANy information on ships??? Any general information??
id go with carnival. but thats my opinion. either ship you choose im sure you will have a good time. unless your 18 i really wouldnt sail on royal caribbean because of the stupid curfew and rentacops. its not worth the trouble having to deal with getting around it.

I'd probably recommend the Carnival Glory for the week as well. Thanksgiving tends to have a slow crowd no matter what ship your on, and I suppose Royal Caribbean doesn't make it any more enticing for teens with their Deck Patrol. They were being PITA's on the Sovereign this weekend, luckily however, i lied to them on night one, told em I was 19 and they never bothered me or my group again...lucky shot, wouldn't work on the longer ones.
the key is having a plan for what you do after 1am

Ok thanks for the advice. Yea the curfew on Royal Caribbean would be a hassle. Its down to Carnival Glory and Carnival Freedom. Freedom is good cause its a whole lot cheaper, but that worries me a little. And Glory leaves from Port Canaveral which is closer to me. I am probably leanin towards glory now though. I just want to go on a cruise really bad though, hopefully it will work out.
Well Glory and Freedom both are in the same class of ship. They are a little different but not by much. Either way you go you are going to have a good time. Just try and go for the one you want most and if it doesnt work shoot for the next. Also just because the Freedom is a little cheaper doesnt really mean much. Both ships are great and you cant go wrong with either. Goodluck! =)
