Default CLUB O2... 18?? HELP please!

BACKGROUND:
I'm going on the Inspiration (for a second time, but haven't seen it since it has been remodeled & now has a club O2). I haven't been on the ship since I was 13 years old, and now I'm going for my 18th birthday to celebrate with my Dad (whose birthday is the day after mine). I won't be leaving my dad during the day because I wanted to hang out with him (usually on cruises I never see my parents unless at dinner or at ports), but this time it's just us two going to hang out before I graduate and move out.

HERE'S THE DILEMNA:
The ship leaves on March 28... my birthday is also March 28! I'm excited to be 18, but does this mean that I can't go into Club O2?? I will only be in there in the evenings to dance and have fun while my Dad goes to the casino (I can't stand games, lol). I know in the past 18 year olds have just hung out with us, but now that it's me I feel like I won't be in. I don't drink or anything and I'm still a senior in high school. Should I talk to the Club O2 director or just chill and hope they don't ask to check my card??

If you feel the director is chill, ask the director. Otherwise, try to sneak through it like you said.

That's what I was thinking. I'm just worried that I won't say anything and the director will get mad and kick me out because he/she can. lol I'm just overthinking it. But I still don't know whats better because I know they have a list of everyone that is SUPPOSED to be there and I'm off by a day.

I think that if you are lucky you can get the best of both worlds, haha

Good question.
My mom is planning a senior cruise and half of them are 18 already and the other half won't turn 18 till like aug.
I would hate to see some people left out.
But most of us look young for our age...
I'm 17 and people still ask me if I'm a freshman...

Thanks for all the responses!

I am kind of hoping that since it is the DAY OF my birthday the director will just say "happy birthday" and all will be good. haha Wishful thinking anyways. I don't think I will be in there long and if it doesn't work out it's not like I came to party. It's more for me and my dad anyways, I was just hoping to get in a little extra while onboard.

I went on a cruise like a month and a half after I turned 18 and being 18 really just opens up a new world for you.....

I could hang out with the older high schoolers (upcoming seniors and those who just graduated) or I could go into the 18+ club and hang out with the 19-22 year olds who were in the prime of college... Either option was avaiable..
