~ I'm 14, can i get into Club O2/Fuel/Optix/Loft etc?
~ What are some of the teen activities? (PM me if u want a list)
~ Will I make friends on my cruise?
~ What is the teen meet & mingle like?
~ What kind of music do they play in the teen club?
~ What is there to do on the ship besides the teen club? (different classes of ships and their activities)
~ Can we (teens under 18/21) drink onboard?
~ Is there a curfew?

Top 10 Stupidest Questions New Cruisers Ask

10. How can we tell which pictures are ours?
9. Do these elevators go to the front of the ship?
8. Do these stairs go up or down?
7. What do they do with the ice carvings after they've melted?
6. What time is the midnight buffet?
5. Does the ship generate its own power?
4. Do the crew live onboard?
3. Is the water in the toilet salt water or freshwater?
2. Is this island completely surrounded by water?
1. Has this ship ever sunk?

Ryan, that list you mention, I do remember one about the lifeboat drill being on there.

Here's my contribution. Cruise ships are extremely safe. The US Coast Guard has one of, if not the, strictest safety guidelines in the world. If a ship was not 100% completely safe to operate, meaning the ship itself and crew training, the US Coast Guard would not allow it to operate.

that top 10 stupid questions is hilarious. and whats so bad about it ive heard those questions before. haha.

alex something you might want to include is maybe about the dining options. i know on my last cruise some of my friends were new cruisers and they didnt know that each meal there was a buffet on lido. they were very unaware of how many different options they had.

thank you guys so much! alot of great ideas. currently, i'm finishing up a "First-time cruiser 101" basically about what to pack, the teen club, and what to expect. for next month, i'll do the FAQ. my goal is to (together) have a go-to guide that answers any question a first-time cruiser will have.

and those 10 stupid questions were funny!

my personal favorites were: 8. Do these stairs go up or down?
7. What do they do with the ice carvings after they've melted? 1. Has this ship ever sunk?

Royal Caribbean does it as a slideshow presentation towards the end of all their cruises fleetwide. All the CDs know it and present it as though its something they've never done before (yet theres a powerpoint) and as though all the questions were asked on that cruise. Newbies laugh their asses off, but some of us just shake our head and act like smartasses as we mimmick him on each one. Carnival does the same thing just less formal.

Last summer, one of my neighbors asked me how the process of boarding and de-boarding the ship works at the beginning and end of the cruise. I'm sure other first time cruisers would wonder the same. She also asked me about seasickness, what to do on and off the ship, how big and how nice the staterooms (and bathrooms) are, and her mother asked me how the customs process works in each port and when the ship returns to the first port (in their case NYC).

I'm sure other first time cruisers would wonder these same things.

you might also want to explain how a cruise is so affordable. a lot of people see the price of $1000 + and think it's really expensive, but they need to consider all their meals, accomadations, and entertainment is included for the duration of the trip.

going on a cruise for a week is muchhh more affordable then going to say disney for a week.

Perhaps do a comaprison for 7 days on a cruise v.s. 7 days at a 3 star resort (most cruises compare to 3 stars not 5)
