Basically all the dancing is grinding. So if you know how to grind you are good to go. Though there may not be all grinding. Just be yourself and dance how you want to. Don't let anyone get in the way of you expressing yourself or having fun. Haha

But really, just laugh and have fun, don't take the dancing too seriously :P

Just keep in mind that the dance floor may be rolling back and forth. I forgot once, the ship hit a wave, and I almost fell.

I'm a dancer and a guy that actually dances (meaning having some sort of rythem and knows how to move) and not just grind, for me, is pretty attractive and awesome.

The club is all about going out there and being yourself and meeting new people in the process. Yes, grinding is a favorite, but on my last cruise one of the guys knew how to salsa and would salsa in front of the whole club and everyone LOVED it. Just be yourself and do whatever you feel comfortable with. Everyone has different dancing styles and experience, just have fun!

It really is the best advice though! I mean, I would rather go dance and do whatever joking around on the dance floor than just sit and watch the fun. The cruise is short, you most likely won't see anyone ever again, you might as well let loose a little. lol I wonder how many people on this board actually do go to the club and dance....

Bad idea in my opinion. Guy's got to do some of the work. Otherwise, its awkward for the girl, especially if its someone you havent actually met.

Err...this is just my opinion but, I think "grinding" is kind of...trashy/slutty in a way. And sometimes, girls who go too far are just asking for it =/
Also, it looks like alot of teens these days consider "grinding" the only type of way to look "good" or attractive/ seductive. I mean, Salsa is totally cool even though it's not my thing but atleast it's an actual type of dance! Just my opinion! Don't flame me.

HAHAH yeah definitely. me and my new girlfriend were slow dancing to the titanic song last night in optix as we were sailing through a force 10 gale, 30 ft waves. We could barely stand but it was great lol

the only thing that annoys me about grinding in the teen club is when there is like a train of people grinding. i think that looks so weird and foolish. for some reason people on cruises always find that socially acceptable haha. its funny because i've never seen it anywhere else, never in clubs or bars. just in the teen club on cruise ships.

It's not dance. It's sexually suggestive and trashy. And no, not all kinds of girls do it. All you guys are doing is rubbing/touching your bodies against each other...and you call that dancing?!

lol ya, its dancing. and by all kinds of girls i mean preps and every other stereotype you like to mock.

its only "sexually suggestive" when a girl takes off her shirt.. and then who cares anyway?
