Default i'm home :[

I got in last night from my cruise. It was by far the best cruise ever!!!! I met the most amazing people & hardly got any sleep. Carnival is my new favorite cruise line - I liked everything better then on Royal Caribbean. I now have major PCD.

Just wanted to check in quick. My laptops not working right, so whenever it is I'll get my pics uploaded and type up a review.

I've always said Carnival is better for teens than Royal.
Glad to hear you had fun though. PCD sucks though. I'd imagine you have some great stories and pics

WOOHOO! Another one on the Carnival side!! haha I saw (and commented) on your facebook pictures. It looks like you had soo much fun and met a TON of people! So which people did you hang out with the most out of all of them? PCD completely sucks and I'm still undergoing it since I got off my cruise 3 weeks ago... At least I am going to see some of my favorites from the ship this summer which I am SUPER excited about!!

I don't have PCD right now, but I certainly will soon. Right now, I'm going through a stage where I need to get on a ship. It's probably because I've been stressed to the point where I've been kinda sick. I don't know if anyone else has the feeling of just needing to get away and have everything disappear. I would like a name/term for that!

it was the most amazing cruise ever!
i'd say i hung out with jesse, eric, and david the most since i met them first. we'd hang out in the huge group for a while, but by the end of the night it would pretty much be back to the four of us.
this is the worst PCD i've ever had. i've been texting everyone nonstop and we've all been talking about how boring it is being home. i did meet one girl that lives 10 minutes from me and my mom and her mom became friends so i'm sure i'll get to see her a lot. i'm working on talking some of the others into coming on the cruise i'm going on for new years lol.

hmm, stories. there are a ton but here's a few that stand out.

1. this kid eric got a little tipsy one night and wanted to wear my jeans. then he decided he wanted a thong too. by the end of the cruise everyone was like "you're that guy that wore a thong!". it was by far the funniest thing i've ever seen.

2. there was this redneck (he called himself that) from the middle of nowhere. he showed us this business card for the great american redneck store and told us that's where he got his KKK membership. he was certainly the oddest person i've met in my life.

3. the 3 guys i hung out with for most of the cruise (jesse, eric, and daivd) would make a comment about EVERY girl that walked by and i'd sit there and keep my mouth shut about all the guys. needless to say, there talk did them no good since i hooked up with someone before all of them. they were pretty shocked haha.

4. MY TEACHERS WERE THERE. there was about 80 people from my hometown, including 3 of my teachers. the look on their face was priceless when they saw me and i had to assure them that what happens on the ship stays on the ship (kinda, haha). my mom was partying with one of my teachers at night. i never saw them without buckets of beer. i got back to school today and my english teacher didn't even remember me talking to him on the 2nd to last night.

i think that's all the stories for now. i'll post again if i think of more. i'm happy to answer any questions if anyone has any.

luv2cruise- That's definitely the symptoms or cruise withdrawal! You need a ship asap!!

Rebecca- I feel like every cruise is better than the last! This time I didn't have my sister and best friend (who I met on a cruise haha) with me so I got closer with a lot of other people including a certain guy.. haha.

Anyways, that is SO awesome that someone lives THAT close to you and you get along and everything. And if the guys could go on your next cruise that would be sooo awesome!

The only person I have ever visited after a cruise is my now best friend for the past couple years (she lives in Texas and I live in Florida). Other than that I have stayed in touch with people, but never seen them after. I'm thinking a couple of the guys are planning on coming down to visit me though and have already cleared it with their parents so maybe this summer. We'll see. haha

1- So THAT is what happened in that picture!! lol I was looking at it forever going how did that happen???

2- When I saw the caption "redneck trying to do the stanky leg" I almost died laughing!

3- Ooo which boy did you hookup with? haha Cruisemate storiesss.

4- Oh my goodness! Teachers and people from home?!? That's lame! At least they didn't remember anything after all those beers. haha That's really funny but awkward!

So how far away does everyone live compared to you?

haha. i hooked up with this kid John. suprisingly i didn't with the 3 guys i hung out with most. i think there's a picture of me and him on facebook with him making a stupid face.

the closest people live in new jersey. then the others are from north & south carolina, illinois, florida, and the farthest away is canada.

I definitely agree, you get a little bit of the different "cultures" within the US (and sometimes from outside the US as well) and you also manage to make friends from all over the place. I personally think cruises are an awesome way to make friends from all different places

it was awesome that everyone was from somewhere different. it makes for great conversation for the first few awkward minutes when you first meet people.

haha I usually come back with different sayings/accents I didn't have when I left. But that's all the fun of cruising. It's when you say something that someone on your cruise always said where you're like "aww.. I miss my cruise" lol

I have 8 more days of classes then I have finals. I really don't think I'll survive! I have so much work to do before finals... 2 tests, 1 project, regular homework, and 2 papers. I don't really have a summer since I'm taking two summer classes and hopefully someone will give me a job since I had to give up my job of six years. I really don't mind summer classes since I love to learn, when I have a good teacher. I've gotten used to having no summers. I'm double majoring (not really my choice) which means that I must take summer classes in order to graduate in four years.

rebecca- glad to hear you had an amazing time on your cruise! my parents went on a carnival cruise before i was born and they didn't like it so they will only cruise on RCL.
You get out of school really late, i thought that we got out late, getting out on June 11th, even though we were supposed to get out the day before but they added a day because of the snow day we had... lame! haha

Carnival has two teen clubs.
Circle C, which is 12-14 (basically middle school aged)
Club O2, which is 15-17 (high schoolers)

It's ridiculous! I'm an elementary education major concentrating in math, science and technology specializing in technology. I will come out of college being able to teach k-5 then 6-8 (math, science and technology). It's a really crazy major because I'm all over the place- education classes, math classes, science classes, tech. classes then liberal learning classes. Right now, schools are in dire need of math and science teachers so I know that I won't have a problem finding a job. In fact, once I have a certain number of credits, I MUST register as a substitute teacher.
