First of all: I'm sorry I'm been such a slacking moderator lately! Things have been really crazy around here and I've been on vacation and gahhh....yeah, I've been busy. I PROMISE, for real this time, that I will be back here posting regularly.
Second of all: We canceled our Carnival Triumph cruise to Canada at the end of August. There were a bunch of reasons why we can't go but I'm pretty upset. My friends didn't really have much compassion because they already think I'm ridiculous for cruising 2-3 times a year. Seriously guys....I haven't been on a cruise in a year!
Third of all: My mom is talking about a possible cruise February break to make up for missing this one. Any suggestions??? Obviously somewhere warm...and if there were any spectacular Carnival ships you've been on recently, let me know because we haven't been on Carnival in a loooong time. I'd appreciate it. =]
id shoot for the dream out of canaveral! it will practically be brand new! =)

dream would be great since its new. then try the liberty (i think its the prettiest of all carnival ships)...or try the glory, triumph or valor. i say sick to the conquest class carnival ships or the newer ones and you really cant go wrong
Year off cruising isn't bad. I'm at a year and a half - somehow still alive, but I've also been taking land vacations that have been measuring up to cruises in terms of fun.
And as for choosing a cruise, I'd say, Dream out of Canaveral, or Liberty out of Miami, or if possible, take a look which ship is sailing the 8 day Panama/Costa Rica route from Fort Lauderdale - 4 days at sea, stunning ports, and a ton of culture.

Turns out we ARE going on the cruise. I appreciate the suggestions and if this Carnival cruise goes well (as in...I like Carnival) then for our next cruise I'll talk to my mom about the Dream.
