yeah it did! it seems like last new years eve was like last month haha.

2 days till lauderdale, 3 till the cruise!!!

what time do you guys head to the port??

haha, we'll be right behind you. our driver is getting us to the port for like 10 because he has to pick someone up off another ship at 1030.

I went on the Liberty of the Seas for New Years last year, such an awesome cruise and completely wild! New Years Eve was so fun, people were partying all night long, I didn't get any sleep haha....most of the other nights as well too.

There are going to be TONS of teens on your sailing, guaranteed. We had a Facebook group made after that cruise, and there were over 150 people that joined it.

You're gonna have a great time! Get ready to party haha!

Did they extend curfew or not enforce it for New Years? I know they're pretty strict about it lately.

Haha, sounds like myself! Always down to party. I'm actually going on the Oasis of the Seas on January 2nd, I'm really excited too!

You should check out Facebook for any groups that may have already been made for your sailing. I found one for mine already, so I'm sure there's gotta be one for the Navigator New Years cruise.

I remember on New Years, they just really didn't care about teens staying out late. I think they lifted the usual curfew for that night, so you don't have to worry about that I don't think. As far as the other nights go, it's somewhat strict, but it's not very hard to get around the curfew. Just go around with a group of people and go from one spot to the next (Library, Chapel (great spot haha), someone's room, etc).

The New Years cruises are usually always a little more lax when it comes to curfew anyways, so it really shouldn't be a problem for ya :]

EDIT: I actually just did a quick search on Facebook for your sailing, and I found a group already, there's two people in it so far. Check it out. Search for "Navigator of the Seas New Years" and you should find it.

Thanks! I actually started that group, and the other person in it is also posting on here, lol. There's another group too that has all the people from our roll call on cruisecritic, but it's mainly the adults.

I'm not too worried about the curfew. I figured they'd be a little more easy going about it since it's a holiday, but all I can remember is on my Mariner of the Seas cruise the security would follow us from Fuel when they shut it down back to the halls to make sure we went to our rooms - it was pretty ridiculous. Luckily my boyfriend is with me this cruise, so if they do enforce the curfew I won't have to sit in the room by myself or hunt my mom down haha.

I'm so jealous you're going on Oasis!! You have to let me know how it is when you get back - have fun! :]

One of thr reasons I'm like super stoked for this cruise is because of the party atmosphere! I'm so ready to just like party hard next week! Haha

Me too!! I like never party at home, but cruises are a total different story - especially with this being for New Years!

Well - I'm off for now! Gotta' finish up Christmas tonight & pack the laptop

I'll be at the airport for 5:40 tomorrow morning.

I might check in from the hotel in Florida, who knows lol.

i'm in ft. lauderdale!!!!
it's a little chilly but it sure beats the 30 degrees at home.
our limo driver took us through port everglades after we left the airport to see oasis - it's hugeeee! independence of the seas was also there and looks tiny next to it

it was definitly something to see.
we're taking it easy for the rest of the night, probably just walking around the hotel area. what we do tomorrow depends on the weather. then it's off to the ship monday!

I'm still in Florida until tomorrow. The cruise was just alright. Navigator went down a lot in their food, service, and the ship overall. If it wasn't for knowing some of the staff, the New Years activities, and having my boyfriend with me it would have been horrible. I'll review more & put the pics up when I get home!

The one thing that was kind of dumb was that they combined the 12-14 with the 15-17 for a lot of things and 12 year olds are really obnoxious haha (or at least the ones on this cruise were) but my friends and I just left fuel sometimes cause it was really lame and like no one was dancing and we had our own parties haha
