What To Do Now?

I am going on the Carnival Valor this May and this cruise is going to be much different than the ones in the past. I have been on 2 other cruises when i was 16 and 17. Both with Carnival and I had an amazing time. But, I am 19 now and I know that I am going to have a much different cruise experience. Does anyone have any advice for me? How can i meet people without club 02? What is there to do for fun for a 19 year old? Will there be people my age to hang out with?

I know how you feel. I just came back from a cruise and I was 21 and my last cruise I was a bit younger so I had the teen club or other activities to go to meet other people my age. I basically went to the nightclub, hung out by the pool and participated in the corny and wacky activities and met people my age or close to it. You have to be outgoing. If someone doesnt like you or if it doesnt work out then who cares you wont see these people after the trip lol.

Don't worry. Be yourself and have fun =]

I just came back from my first cruise being 18. I thought it would be boring without O2 as a source to meet people, but I had an amazing time! They do hold a meet for people 18-20 on one of the first days. I didn't go to that, but it's always an option. Your best bet to meet people is the night club, casino, gym, or around the pool. Just be outgoing and don't be afraid to approach people that seem around your age! Everyone is in the same situation, so don't worry if it's a little awkward at first. Carnival is known as the fun ship for a reason - you'll have a blast!

Thank you for your answers! I was a little worried that no one would ever reply to this thread.
Yea, being outgoing has never been a problem. Meeting people isnt bad either. I am just glad to hear that there will be people my age on the ship. I dont expect it to be like how it was when i was younger, but i would like to meet people and hang out with them like a few years back. I think it will all work out and be a great trip.
