I wasa reading about tipping the maitre d' at the start when you check on your table assignment - I read it would help get a good table and alert the wait staff that you had de contact with the maitre d' and service would be better - my questions are...
How much do you tip at the beginning when you check on your table assignment?
How much do you then tip this same person at the end of the cruise?
If the Madre'd happens to do somthing for you or does stop by you table every evening, I think $10 would be a fair amount to tip. If you are just going to check and not change any seating arrangements and do not see or hear from him for the cruise, then I don't see any reason to tip. May-be others feel differently???
