I recently returned from the Sensation. I decided to have all the tips removed from my sail and sign card the second day of the cruise. The first two nights on board we had towel animals made when we got back to the room. Mysteriously for some reason, the next 3 nights we had none. I wonder if this was our cabin stewards way of saying I know you took off the tips.
Sounds like the handwritings on the wall. We are cruising next month and I am kicking around the idea of removing the tips from our account and giving it personally. Never had them held out before. Been a couple of years since we cruised and they were NOT added to our account then. We never had towel animals, either.

The funny thing that happened to me was that the cabin stewart tied my top sheet under the matress on the last night because I couldn't leave the tip on the bed the last night. I was late getting back to the cabin with it. He had already turned down the beds and I never saw him again. I did leave him a tip because he performed well during the week. I can laugh at it now and I hope he got his tip.
Did you end up tipping anyone? How long was your cruise. We only had two towel animals on a four day cruise we went on in August, and only 5 on the 7 day we just got back from.

yatalkintome?? ;-) We were on a 7day with Celebrity, and we tipped each person individually. Also up front tip with the room girl. Good for fresh tea, ice and lemons each day at 1400. Still sadly boo.. hoo.. NO animals. Maybe Celebrity doesn't do animals,,,OR maybe she just didn't like me.

As long as the service is good I don't need animals. Didn't get any, didn't expect any.
Acually I was having such a good time I didn't even remember that some peoples
stewards made animals out of their towels.
