Default Voyager Tipping

We are going on a 5-night cruise on the Voyager this summer. We have only cruised Carnival before, and have always had our auto-tipping removed from our sail and sign card so that we could hand the tips to the people in person. Does anyone really know for sure if the wokers on the Voyager have to pool their tips?

Last time we were on Voyager they did not automatically charge your tips, we just used the envelopes with cash. I understand that if you want the tips charged to your account, you had to go down and arrange that.

Hi Sis,
If you figure $10.00 a day for each of you, that would be 70.00 times 3, $210.00 all together.

Just back from Voyager.

Spoke to our server - nope, they do not pool the money.
Whatever you give - going straight to him.

RCCL will put a letter in your cabin describing tipping guidelines. It comes to approx. $10 per person per day (this is for your waiter, assistant waiter and cabin attendant).

If you order drink in the bar - they automatically add 15% to the bill.
