Room Service Tipping

Hi everybody.
We are going to take a cruise on the RCCL Liberty OTS and I am curious about how much to tip for room service.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, 6 and 7.
How much do you usually tip for breakfast or lunch delivered to your room?

For four of you I'd recomend $3-4

Depends on what you order.
When our attendant struggled with a huge platter I'd give him 5 bucks.

When it was only drinks that were subject to the automatic 15% gratuity, I'd give him 3 dollars.

IMHO, what I paid for the items brought or what additional fee is added is not relevant. I tip according to what was brought. A couple of sodas and cookies, a buck or two. A big tray of breakfast items, maybe five bucks. A couple of bar drinks maybe two dollars.

Five bucks first time and buck a person per item after that.
