Recently sailed on Princess form Honolulu to Tahiti.
It seemed that the Shore excursions desk had no conection with what was actually taking place on shore. I took a snorkeling trip on what was called in the brochure "a basic boat - no flippers or masks" I asked at the desk if the boat had cover from the sun. The answer was "No." The boat comes and it is fully covered and has flippers and masks.
Another trip I took was snorkeling on a catamaran. The boat showed up - it was just a little boat - no catamaran.
On another tour - circle tour of Moorea we were worned freguently to take a towel with us to sit on due to the hard wooden seats in the Le Trucks which we ride on. We get to shore and there is not a Le Truck in site. All air conditioned, cushioned seat buses.
A little communication between ship and shore would be appreciated.
