Fitting Into The Shower
If you are to large to fit into the shower, will they
upgrade you to a larger bathroom? Do any of the lines have a sign advising you to soap really in order to avoid getting stuck?

HMMMMM Don't know, guess they should also have warnings for small people who could get sucked down the toilet.

They will not upgrade your room, however, they will make special arrangements to have you hosed down in the early AM along with the outside deck areas. You must however bring your own soap and be willing to keep up with the deckhands as they move quickly
around the deck. You can also get this same special treatment in poer from the dockside crew who are hosing down the exterior windows.

Re: Fitting Into The Shower
If you really have a problem, just start a small fire in your cabin and the emergency sprinkler system will kick in.

At least you will be marginally clean when they put you off the ship in the next port.

Re: Fitting Into The Shower
The key to ship showers is to soap up before stepping in. For a true sense of accomplishment get two in the shower.

Kuki.. who's missed a muster drill stuck in the shower with Mrs. Kuki

Is that how I lost my wife on the last cruise, they did say there were plumbing problems after I reported her missing?

Re: Fitting Into The Shower
On the Island Princess and Pacific Princess, two lovely old vessels, the showers were so small, just about every comedian had a joke that went like this.

" I finally discovered how to take a shower. You soap the walls and then rub your body parts against the walls. And never try to bend down to try top pick up the soap."

To be practical there are ships ply and I recollect some late versions of Princess sh ips plying the oceans that have larger stall showers, especially the newer Carnival ships.
