When Do They Move Ther Movable Ceilings

I have been on RCI's Vision (3 times), Legend, Splendour, Rhapsody an Radiance and have never seen the ceiling opened over the solarium, I have been on Princess once (Grand) and the roof was opened several times. Not that it really matters, but I wonder if anyone has ever seen the roof opened on any RCI ship?

Been on 3 RCCL cruises in the Caribbean (Legend, Rhapsody, & Vision), and have never seen the Crystal Canopy opened, either..............

They often open them in the Caribbean, especially on relatively cool, dry days.

Cruised the Grandeur in 98 and they had the canopy open. Wouldn't you know it, we ran into rain squalls and the solarium was as wet as the main pool area on deck!!!!

Maybe that's why they are not opened often.

I cruised on the Enchantment of the seas Last Year and the Crystal Canopy was open everyday.

We were on the Rhapsody in February and they opened the canopy everyday. The breeze was wonderful but the sun was much more intense with it open. They must have some sort of protective film on the glass.
