You know, we havenít had a really good gripe topic in some time now Ė Iím getting a little restless!
Pamdaís in Hawaii, Rick hasnít posted in awhile Ė so I guess itís up to the rest of us to carry the banner. But weíre up to the task, right?!
I mean, something must irk us about cruising. The shipís too small, the shipís too big. The foodís too cold, the foodís too hot. The days in port are too short, there arenít enough at-sea days. Something.........!
Think about it Ė we spend all this money on a cruise, and things have been pretty close to perfect lately. Whatís up with that?
Perhaps itís because we care so much about that which we love so much. Perhaps itís because cruising doesnít offer us much to complain about.
Perhaps cruising (with the exception of the occasional cruise from hell) is just about the most perfect form of vacation there is........
I am sure that a lot of people(family friends coworkers) are griping about me having just come back from one less than a week ago and now constantly talking about my next one in Dec.
Even with mine being a "cruise from Hell", it was still the best possible vacation I could have hoped for...Ever since my first cruise in Feb 1994, I have only vacationed on a ship and probably will for life.
Now that is sad!!!!! I can sympathize with you. Last year I had to have a new roof put on my house. When I handed the contractor the check, I asked him "Do you know how many cruises I could have went on with this money?" Nice guy that he was, he offered me cruises on his pontoon! lol
