Default tiny glasses at the drink stations

Now I actually have a gripe.. the baby size glasses by the drink dispensers on the Summit. Think they must have been all of 5 oz. each.
That ice tea and orange juice must be expensive <G>

And to make matters worse the machines are turned of when the buffet is closed. Just plain STRANGE!

I agree Antlerhead. Larger glasses would cut down on the number of people standing at the buffet and lessen the congestion. I suspect the small glasses are their way of minizing waste and expenses.

Thomas

Now Kuki, this is a valid gripe. How many people did you see getting two glasses, why not bigger ones is beyone me.

I can see the smaller ones for orange juice at breakfast, but at lunch?

I was definitely guilty of being a two fisted water drinker at the buffet line. And refills were required! Larger glasses would have been nice.

And those petite coffee cups! Where's the MUGS? I just bring my own insulated gallon carboy for those hard to wake up mornings!

I didn't like the tiny glasses either. I guess they want to encourage you to buy a soda or something. Next time I'm bringing my own insulated mug to carry around.

Hey Mooseman,

You taught me to carry my own mug. Relieves the need to go back for more so many times. :-)

Celebrity isn't the only guilty party here. Carnival's drink glasses seemed awful small, too. I guess I could reuse the souvinear glass (after rinsing it out in my cabin's sink) from one of those daily special drinks.

I recently got in the habit of carrying a insulated mug with me on the airplane. I ask for a whole can of coke and put it in my mug and I drink it as I please. I plan to take my mug to my next cruise and my two grand teens will take theirs too.
