My upgrade vanished with out a trace....

What happened was I booked a AD mini suite guarantee, looked on the princess website and saw they had given me cabin D422 in an AA cat. Went back to the website a few weeks later and saw that this cabin/cat assignment was gone and replaced by a AC Guarantee. This was sort of disturbing to me because they gave me a nice upgrade then took it away...

Ah well, being from Maine, and going on this cruise in December will be a treat anyhoot! :-) We will be celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary onboard the Golden! Dec. 14 sailing. Yippee!!!

Even so you still got an upgrade over your AD category ... hopefully, it holds.

If you booked a "guarantee", your stateroom assignment can be changed back and forth up til the day of sailing. A guarantee gets you at least the category you book or better but nothing lower than you booked.

Remember... what the upgrade fairy giveth, the upgrade fairy can taketh away. Nothing is guaranteed except a cabin at the level you booked at.
