this might have been griped about before but i´m too lazy to go through the old messages and thought i´d get this gripe off my chest.
why do people bash eachother about their choice of cruiselines? can someone please clue me in on what that is about! it seems this is an ultra sensitive issue that i just don´t get.
before i open my e-mouth too wide, i´ll stop there. that is primarily all i wanted to say.
People want to believe that they know what is best and which line is above the others. It is a common occurence isn't it? I would never do such a thing but I have to admit Princess has the worst steak I've ever had, RCl has service just a notch above Wendy's, CCL might as well serve their egg cartons instead of their eggs, Celebrity is not worth the money, Raddisson's rooms are less comfortable than the county jail, Costa's ships rattle like the junk they are, and I'm not feeling too well myself. <wink>
Pizza, sausage or pepperoni, cheese or veggie??? We used to have pizza wars at work and I am thankful I don't have to order any more pizzas to please 100 people!
Annual inventory was yesterday and I was so glad not to be there! But the girl that replaced me, called to ask about the pizza!!! She said everyone is telling me what they want, it's awful!!! :-)
Suzanne: I agree with you that too much of this goes on, and I have been guilty of it at times, too. It seems that a person's cruise line preference is similar to his football team preference, sports car preference, and all of those preferences that motivate people to defend them, and bash the competition.
I'm not talking here about people who have been on a line's recent cruise and have legitimate and specific complaints about it. And I'm not talking about comments made about a cruise line's policies by those who agree or disagree with them. Most want to hear such comments and consider them before chosing a line and ship.
But the non-specific, generalized negative comments just get in the way at times. Best to just ignore.
What irritates me the most on a cruise ship is when I am at the 25.00 blackjack table and have to pay over 2.00 for a small bottle of water! This happened on the Costa Atlantica and I was in the casino all seven nights. At least Princess has complimentary soft drinks!
