Calling AOS the 'Adventurer of the Seas" .
Why does this happen so frequently even after people see that it is the Adventure of the Seas?

I think it's because of the Explorer of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, and Voyager of the Seas. With so many "-er" ships, it just sounds right to call the AOS the Adventurer of the Seas, whether that's correct or not.

Just call it the AOS, that'll solve all problems. <G>

Yeah I figured that is why the mistake is made. It was a small pet peeve, and not some huge problem that was keeping me up at night :). Actually Adventurer sounds better now that I think about it.

After looking at all those RCI "er" names, I told someone my next cruise will be on the Enchanter of the Seas<LOL>

I am expecting Expedition of the Seas and Excursion of the Seas next. I am surprised they did not continue the "Ford Motor Co. theme" after the Explorer of the Seas was introduced. :-)

...Mustang of the Seas, Thunderbird of the Seas, Bronco of the Seas, LTD of the Seas. Pinto of the Seas would have defective hatches and would sink as soon as a tender bumped it. :-)
