Default Solution to deck chair problem

Hello,

I have come up with a way to solve the deck chair fiasco so many people have experienced.........

Buy one of those fold up chairs that go in a bag that you can carry over your shoulder...you know the ones at soccer games and picnics???????

Want some shade fold up and find some shade.....want a chair by the pool?.....right again.....a good seat at the show? BIngo..you win again///.....any spot on the ship and it's yours!

ENJOY ALL...................

Good idea, but it may not work. We just returned from the Adventure and a certain group of people did not want anyone sitting among them in "their" area even if someone brought the chair from somewhere else. So now it is not only deck chairs being saved but areas as well. Other than this one very unpleasant and ridiculous incident, a great cruise.

Do the staff on the ship not do anything about people not "letting anyone sit among them"? Seems a little snooty if ya ask me. I paid for my holiday. I'll sit in an empty chair in any area if there's no one using it. If they show me their name on the ships registry as "owner" then maybe we can discuss it, otherwise, first come, first sit.

Jill, you should have found a mother with a young baby and a Maya wrap, and given her directions to a great place to go when the little one gets hungry...

Dear BC Cruiser:
The pool/deck staff wanted no part of this incident and did nothing at all to help. Looking back on it, it was just ridiculous, but it was a very small part of an otherwise fantastic cruise.

Would be a sit pack wouldn't it! I refuse to let others dictate where I can sit.....did we digress back to the 60's?

Just one opinion!
