Default Stateroom noise

We have just been assigned a stateroom right under the Casino for a 14 day Celebrity cruise. Is the noise from above going to be noticeable? I am a real light sleeper. Thanks

You need to go to the specific cruise line and ASK there!
The name of the ship, etc!
If it is HAL, the casino will be empty by 9:30pm, so it won't be a problem.

Thanks for the reply. Are you speaking from experience? It is a Celebrity Alaska cruise on the Summit.

Which 14 day Summit cruise are you on? The spring or fall?

If you're a really light sleeper, I would think ANYthing would keep you awake. I'd ask for a cabin surrounded, top and bottom by other cabins, rather than over or under commercial areas. Ever think about sleeping pills? I use 'em on long flights, because I don't sleep well on planes. I really envy those people who crawl on an airplane, curl up and sleep for the duration!

J.
