Jimbo, I didn't ask the cruise line for a refund because this was something that was beyond the control of the line...at least I don't think that cruise line personnel go around dousing people in heavy perfume. I brought it up here to heighten people's awareness that some people have problems with heavy perfume, particularly the ones made of synthetic ingrediants rather than natural scents, which includes a lot of scents. I don't think you want me to get started on the "somebody should pay" attitude...let's just say that I believe that the attitude costs the consumer a lot of money needlessly.
did nobodies mother tell them how to put perfume on? You spray it the air just above and infront of you and walk through it. Hey presto, the scent lands very lightly on you and does not bother anyone and it is then only for your partner nose! FYI on aircraft you'll never get away from strong perfume. Not until you take the cabin crews away .
