look out here comes another really big girl. i promise to shower, cover my fat thighs, not bend over, not sweat, not eat in front of anyone, and not dance naked on the tables.
Why are people focusing on this stuff. Have a good time. Just turn your head when the view is not to your liking. All this fat rude wild talk has made me hungry where is the buffet?

I think this topic is a bit unjust to some of us. Being a 'large person' and letting it all hang out is disgusting and something no one, not even other fat people want to look at. I am a large person and I dress appriopriately to my size. No tank tops, no bikinis, no short-shorts. I think it's just a matter of respect.

I can't stand people who won't control their children. If your children are that badly mannered then leave them at home.

Rude Seniors....just because you are old does not mean you automatically get my respect. It's earned, not given freely.

There may possibly be a few things more gross than me in my speedo, but I doubt it.

I wish I had the mental discipline of a Vulcan to block that visual every time it comes.

Why can't society legislate against that sort of thing??

Doesn't that come under public indecency laws??

That is the only type of profiling at the airport I would support! "I'm sorry sir, but based on your background and appearance, the domestic department of mental wellbeing has identified you as a possible risk....please step this way......"

actually Jen, I was serious about the vulcan mind thing......

Cindy lou, were you serious about asking if I'm serious?? Did you think I was serioulsy supporting the speedo profiling??

Would these people ( wearing speedos) who are suspected of posessing weapons of mass detestation volunteer for a "pat down"??

In the future Cindy lou, there won't be a need for this, scientists will be able to identify the speedo gene very early before birth and switch the gene off allowing the individual to enjoy a lifetime of beach adventure without our children looking at them and wondering "why is that man wearing his underwear on the beach??"

(I hope I am not seriously offending any hard core speedo enthusiasts or speedo stockholders, just having some fun with this)

I think giant hairy men in speedos compare favorably with giant women in teeny weeny pokadot bikinis. I sure wouldn't want to pat down either.

OK - now I would be very impressed if the guy wearing nothing but a speedo had to be patted down for hiding weapons of mass destruction - most women would :o) And what about really hairy women in teeny weeny bikinis - let's be fair here! Banker - as I am currently nursing a broken shoulder and have been on pain meds for 32 days - I would have to consider myself a vulcan no-mind lol. ttfn Jennifer

As I've said before, I gave up wearing speedos when I could not see them anymore and felt I was walking around the pool area naked !!! Still gives me nightmares......

If Speedo are to increase their market and public acceptability. Then we guys of a certain again need a flesh colored body suit attached, that pulls, drags and lifts all our years of body abuse into stong elastic.

But agreed I cant believe the guys that still wear these things,,,,it can put you right off your pool side pizza,,,,shrimps and anchovies anyone ????

It's ok to wear a speedo, as long as you wear it over a wetsuit!

And about being fair, I have no love for skimpy bikinis. I love women, I really really love women, in fact, I love women so much.......oh, sorry back to my point - I have told my wife several times that I prefer a one piece or the new hipster style swimsuits (she just got a few) over the bikini. I find it a lot sexier to be a little more covered and sexy looking rather than wear a revealing skimpy bikini. The only difference is, the skimpy bikini does not gross me out like the speedo does.

I have a pair of speedos - before you freak out, they are regular just above the knee swim shorts that happen to be made by speedo (a very good brand).

There must be a proper name for the "speedo type" of accoutrement.

Jen, are you using the paid meds as an excuse??

Banker - I'll take any excuse I can find! On the speedo thing - if I was a guy I would not want to wear the word "speedo" on my shorts. Some may take it as truth in advertising

It would have been better if they were actually playing this year. However, the junior game today was fun to watch.

I wish I could too, thanks!

You know how it is, you get back and can't wait to go again, We are looking for one around June'ish, and then a 2 week panama in the fall, and of course, Feb 28th Rccl is taking bookings for Freedom of the seas, it will alternate an eastern/western out of Miami. We will do a back to back on the inaugural.

I like the idea that Jenn (i think) suggested that we get all of the certified card carrying nut cases (we, the regular inhabitants of this gripes board) together on a group cruise. The resulting torrential flood of fatuousness would be amazing to be a part of......I think!

I think we need our own crew as well - maybe Jack Nicholson as the captain, and president Bush as gopher - lol. We would be our own entertainment as well. The only trouble with a cruise like that - they might not let us back on land ..... we would just keep on drifting ..... oops don't see a problem after all :o) ttfn Jennifer

What??? Fat people are ugly to look at? Old man, you need to look in the mirror. The only thing ugly is an ugly mind, and you quite frankly scare me. How sad you are. I'm not fat, but if I were, I'd flaunt my big, beautiful body in your FACE!

Old man, you need a new pair of glasses. I'm not fat, in fact quite slim, but I don't look at people the way you do. How can you even say what you did? My wish for you is many cruises, many calories, and we'll see how you think after you gain some weight.

Jenn, Richard simmons as the cruise director, Doogie Houser MD as the doctor, Donald Trump as the hotel manager, Wolfgang Puck as the head chef, Martha Stewart running the "how to" seminars, Bugsy Segal running the casino, and Michael Jackson in charge of the kids program.
