This is a new one on these boards. Something of a change from the no jeans at dinner.

Not so new! No jeans at dinner would probably reveal additional tattoos etc.. No jeans at dinner? Is that allowed? Oh well as long as they accessorize properly.

aren't the same people you see in the evening fully clothed the same people you see on the beach that day, or by the pool??

so chances are you've seen that little tatoo of tinker bell on her inner thigh anyways, and doesn't have to be "shown"

PS - I hate that torture thing you gals do to us, it's like we know about it, have every intention of resisting the temptation, but somehow get drawn in for the slaughter anyways

I broke up with the first one. All she ever wanted to do was go to the buffet. My new GF in the second picture doesn't eat as much but she falls over alot.

Actually I have deleted those photos as they are very much inapproprate for our website. Let me remind you again that this is a FAMILY style website and whatever you post should be something that you would not mind your 6-16 year old daughter to see presuming that you had one. Additionall these are real people and I am curious what right you have to post their photos or images on a public website without their permission. I have a sense of humor guys, and probably even more warped than yours but it is also my job to make sure we follow the TOS and think about the ramifications of ya'lls posts too.

Thanks, Jim. And you are right. I am sorry, I got a little carried away but it was all in fun. I will argue with you though about who has a more warped sense of humor. That is up for debate!\

BTY right again, I do not have any daughters but I have two sons and I need to set a good example.

Well its been interesting reading!!

Personally speaking I am almost 40, female, married, income over 200,000. I have a tattoo and have since my late 20's. It is small, discreet and can be covered with normal clothing. My husband has no tattoos but my oldest son has one on his shoulder that is also small, discreet and can be covered with normal clothing.

Do I care if others dislike my tattoo? Not particularly, I generally don't play show and tell with my tattoo, its on my body because I want it to be there and I don't feel the need to show it very often.

Class has nothing to do with tattoo's, neither does stripping or crime.

FYI - reputable tattoo artist do not use "unclean needles" , they have procedures in place that insure their equipment is sterile. The artist that did my tattoo insisted I watch as he opened the new sealed package with the needles. He wore gloves and changed his gloves when he had to take a phone call. His office was so clean a doctor could have operated in there.

I chuckled when someone said it was a fad like cigar smoking was a decade ago, I got my tattoo just over 10 yrs ago and didn't smoke my first cigar until last year. Guess I don't follow fads very well.

I guess that I am just an old fashined guy who doesn't keep up with trends. I just don't feel like putting things permanently on my body (tatoos) or in it (piercings, cigaretts, cigars)other than food, vitamins and a modicum of beverages.

However, that is what makes this world the great place it is. There's something for everyone, and we should all celebrate the differences.

sorry but I really don't think your tatoos are tastefull art!! and I can't imagine why you would want to put yourself on display> suit yourself but don't be surprised when others find your "tasteful Art" less than pleasant to look at............NMNita

I have a grand daughter who got one when she was a senior in high school. it isn't visable and isn't very large, but guess what? She is already sorry and her sister, a college freshman would never think of getting one. Guess not all fads are for the best. Long hair in the 70s was cool, blond steaks of bangs in the 50s was the way to go: using cigarette holders in college was fun, but these were passing fads that did no damage. I can even live with the peicing, it will go away; tattos, yes the rose bud will be an oversized rose basket in about 20 years.

Many years ago (in fact 45 this coming June) as I was about to depart for Navy boot camp, my dad told me if I ever got a tattoo and came back home, he would personally remove it. Not knowing exactly what method he would use, I refrained. He would occasionally ask if I had gotten one and I would reply in the negative. After 4 or 5 years had passed, so had my desire to get a tattoo. As a medic, I saw far too many infections caused by dirty needles. It was my choice to never get a tatoo, but I have to say I have admired some fantastic tatoo art over the years. I retired almost 30 years later, having never got a tattoo, and don't you know dear old dad asked me that by now infamous question. "Did you get a tattoo"?

It is really none of my concern if anybody gets a tattoo and I would never press my own thoughts on others in this regard. I have never stared (at least in a negative sense) at people with tattoos. I will admit though that I do cringe when I see young people with many tattoos (or massive ones), but that is my shortcoming, not theirs.

My dad passed away in '98. A couple of years later I accompanied my much younger brother and his wife as they got the finishing touches on tattoos. They tried to cajole me into getting one and I almost caved in, but dad's words kept running through my head, "if you get a tattoo, I will remove it". So I declined.

I don't believe I ever wanted a tattoo, but , if I had, I was too cheap to pay for one. In addition, I have always hated needles.

If you don't already have a tattoo, you can get one on Carnival. Most of the people on this ship had several already but this was a popular spot. It must be a Carnival thing. I didn't seem to see as many tattoos on RCI and definately not a tattoo stand like this.

Kinda tacky if you ask me....

My feelings on Carnival are well know, but Dave I did not know they had a tattoo parlour.

What can I say, it just sort of reaffirms what I already thought, but even more

Dear oh dear, what next for Carnival in their ability to make money out of people,,,, a red light deck area maybe?

Yes, DavidB I agree. I was on this cruise as part of a business group I belong too. I am a board member and in charge of special events this year. We are planning our annual cruise again for the fall but going on RCI next time. Tampa was close and the timing was right. But all agreed to go with a different line this time.

I didn't realize either how popular the mullet still was until getting onboard. I think I will grow a goatee, a mullet, buy some NASCAR shirt and hat, get a tattoo and go on Carnival again.
