HighSchool Trips

Does anyone know when high school teens will be taking their trips this summer? I would like to plan a trip in May - but not if school trips will be on board.

I know that here in florida the schools do not get out until late may. We are going on a cruise May 8th and prior to booking we went to the county school board websites to make sure that we wouldn't be running into a ton of kids. Even tho we are in our 20's my husband and I are not wild college kids who party. We are kinda like an old married couple. Have fun whenever you go

If you cruise toward the beginning of May and go on a 7 day or longer cruise you should be able to avoid a lot of kids. Most of the school trips tend to book the shorter cruises (3-5 days).

we were on a cruise once that had a senior class aboard and they were well behaved etc ec --it was kind of interesting watching the interplay between the kids at the different venues --the hormones were flowing like crazy but the chaperones did a great job--the group didnt effect my cruise one bit

Im a senior in high school. I will be taking a cruise during spring break in March. The only holiday in May is Memorial Day and I doubt people with children will cruise then. But when it hits June, thats when you have to worry about those rambunctious teenagers.

Is June a USA wide vacation time for developing adults, and how long does the pain last for those that been there, seen it, got the medal and t-shirt having brought our own up and are now in therepy?

When I went to school, all we could afford was a canoe, and only the rich kids go to go.

Maby you should stick to "old people cruises" if your worried about high school kids. Holland America or Crystal. Now i'm not in high school, but when I book my cruises "high school kids" don't bother me. Of course little kids running wild is really annoying.

All I am saying is if your worried about kids, don't sail any of the fun ships. Stick with the bingo and the crossword word puzzles on HAL.

And at what age do little kids running around become acceptable in your mind , plus at what age should you begin to do the "old peoples cruises" thing? Now that your not in High School, you must have all these answers.

And some should learn there is an English dictionary, and then there is the American version. Both are acceptable in their ways of spelling individual words,unless totally wrong.

Sorry your point was Dot and Familycruiser. Maybe you too are just out of High School and missed my tone regarding this persons attempt to give advice based on his or her vast experience of cruising and by doing so, trying to place people onto certain lines.
