Yeah the Turtle farm is the same. Interesting for about 5 minutes.. see one baby turtle ( or one thousand of them) you've seen them all. Considering the limited amount of time you've got your feet on the island choose your excursions wisely!

The Cayman Islands itself is interesting for about five minutes.

Anne, I certainly agree! Unless you want to swim with the stingrays, there really isn't anything worthwhile to do. It is more fun staying on the ship.

Once you get off the ship, take a taxi to 7 mile beach and stay there the entire day. Nothing else compares to it. BEAUTIFUL!!

Anne & Paul
I hate to do this, but I must disagree with you about The Caymans.
Yes, it is flat, and small, but...............
I have never been more relaxed than when in The Caymans.
No drivers bugging you about going somewhere else.
No beggars, no overzealous vendors trying to braid my hair,
or sell me their seashell wares.
Although I have not been since the hurricane, the island has
always been clean and tidy. The tour operators have always
acted like they cared we were there.

I'm on Caymans side of this fence.

Joe, I live just three hours from the Padre Island National Seashore here in Texas, so I try to tour interesting things when I cruise. In that respect, Grand cayman isn't that interesting.

I'm glad you enjoy the beach, since every Western Caribbean cruise seems tio stop there.
