Default So who tells me NO !

Have you seen the web ads for the new RCCL ship with the board sailing pool, brilliant.

So apart from the DW nagging at me, David dont be stupid, act your age, etc etc.

I need someone on ship with a grasp of reality to say no you might hurt yourself,,,me I'm still 19 in the head and want to try it !!

Thats my gripe guys they invented this stuff too late for me,,,but then again !!!!

DavidB,

Go for it! If you feel 19 in your head, maybe your body will follow.

No grasp on reality here!

Just be sure your DW is there to take pictures (and help you to the medical office!).

Go for it dude! I called to book freedom on the release day and all the cabins we wanted were gone at 10:30am. Then that evening most of the decent catagories were sold out. Anyways we lost interest and now that I saw that CO2 zone or whatever I wanna go, i wanna go now!

David, your avatar so exactly depicts what I picture your attitude to look like with the finger and everything it's hilarious!!

Let's see, David. You are 19 inside and, I guess, 91 outside for balance.

If I can use the giant slides on the new Carnival ships, I guess it's a go for you. One should never pay any attention to his/her spouse.

Your avatar scares me!!

I find I want to do these things but I don't "bounce" like I used to. Luckily, most of the time, when I decide I am going to go do it (whatever it may be) when I get up from my deck chair my knees remind me how old my body is in comparison to what my mind is telling me. But , David, GO FOR IT>

Well if God spares me I'm going on that ship and going for it, hey you only live once.

It's like the first time I did a rock wall climb on ship, boy did my thigh and calf muscles hurt the next day! But what a memory.

And if the avator pic is scary, sorry that was just me from a formal night portrait on Cunard, you want to see the informal

Plus over 550 views and only 6 replies, I'm loosing my touch......Lets think of something to get them posting,,,,

Reminds me of the Toby Keith song As Good As I Once Was. The lyrics go... "I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was...". You just have to see the video.

Go ahead and try it. But if you hear "snap, crackle, pop" when you land - it's not cereal.

I'm telling you Dave... YOU CAN DO!! But just ONCE. If you try twice it will not be pretty. For real... you need to watch this video. It even has a "Dave" featured in it. I think you need Winamp installed to view it but most of us have it already.

Thanks folks,, Dorothy you dont want to see that rubber wet suit. If compared to a inner tube, it looks like something is ready to blow in the middle !

iamblking, I am linking to it now, thanks

So I've decided let the young in my heart take a back seat, and I'll watch those more capable and bouncy from the rails. Plus Ichecked my insurance !

Sh&t, aint age hard too take!

DB Edit
iamblking, cant see it, yes got the software installed, it could be to do with rejection of reverse proxy calls on my satellite based dsl by the host. But thanks for the link. Will persevere

Scottman not to worry. Here is another link.. http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/keith_toby/artist.jhtml#
Down in the middle of the page it says Videos, select "As Good as I Once Was" (full length)
Proxy server should not be an issue. It's a must see for us young at hearters (is that a word?) I'm 41 myself going on 20.

Default So who tells me NO

My dh climbed the rock wall in his late fifties. I just know he would want to surf. Can he surf? NO! I would go on Freedom just to watch the wipeouts. Hope they have a good dentist on board when the boogie board comes up to bite them and let's not forget concussions. Who handles those?

You know what cruisinforever, regarding "My dh climbed the rock wall in his late fifties".

GOOD for him, respect. Sometimes we deemed as old should go for it, live it, enjoy. You only live once
