Not sure what you're referring to Will. If a post is edited by a moderator they NOTE on the post that it was edited by staff or moderator, and generally the reason for the edit.

If a poster edits their own post, it says so on the bottom of the message.

Agreed Kuki. and as someone who either re-reads and then edits for my typos or every now and then I get get hit with the "acceptable " police. (that winds me up)

They are two different scenarios. But hey thats posting on CM,,,so what were they complaining about again?

As a quiet, unopinionated person I agree that CM editing of innocent opinion can appear harsh, but if they did not do it, then it would just turn out as a board of people slagging people other off on some threads,,,no value.

Quiet, David? A giant turbine is quiet. I am just glad that the sound on my computer is off when I read your posts.

I believe that I stand out as an example of perfect decorum.

Quiet is one thing...

but unopinionated???

David is as unopinionated as a Swiss referendum on the spoon vs. fork issue. (yeah right)

Amazing that one thinks we have done so much editing last week! Mike was on a cruise and did not return until mid-week and Donna and I were both gone all week on a cruise. That just leaves Kuki and of course Paul here. I don't think they have been all that busy.

This is funny: I've spent about 90 hours on the new boards since I got home last Monday but it sure as heck hasn't been in editing any posts, except my own. There's been too much other work to do.

I do like the preview feature, I can at least see some of my grammatical errors and the errors that IE Spell check doesn't get. I emphasize "some" of my grammatical errors.

I'll live with it.

Take care,
Mike

One of my posts was edited/ removed the other day, I guess it got a little to political. ???
Did not see any annotation that it was edited.

I really don't know what this is about either as it is usually very obvious why a post is edited or deleted. Now with the registering we can notify you when a post is deleted and when we edit it shows why. As for a post being "too political' then you should understand that any post that is political is 'too political' as this is a cruise website and really, politics and religion don't belong here no matter what your view is.
