From what I understand the cruise line did get your luggage to you eventually, so they won't reimburse you for anything.
Did you have travel insurance? If you did, they would be the ones to contact to make a claim for the things you had to buy.
Please don't let one "screw up" stop you from cruising again .
It's very unusual for luggage to be lost. Since it's happened to you once, it probably will never happen again
