Default Dark beer, please!!!

If you love brown or dark beer and you are cruising in the future, please make a note of your preference on the Comment Card they will leave for you. Maybe if enough people request it, they will stock some on the ships. My mouth was watering for a Killian's, Yuengling, or Amber Bock (to name a few).

What PH gathering?
Another PH on this board, eh???

There are several of us.

I ask for dark beer every time I fill out a comment card.
They just don't listen.

I thought so, "Fruitcake" is a dead giveaway! ^5 I just became an "official" Tampa Bay Parrot Head on Tuesday night at our local meeting. Parrotheads, good people, we are. I can't wait until I'm back from NC so I can get involved with the environmental services this club sponsors.

You'll love being a PH member. Our club, the QC PH's is one of the largest in the US. We do clean ups on the Mississippi River, highway roadside cleanups, collect coats and mittens for local clothing drives, etc. We also have a major fundraiser each winter for local charities--we gave over $30,000 this time to 2 local senior services organizations. Plus, we have FUN!!! Have met some great PH's on cruises, too

Seems as though there are always a few PHs on any cruise!
So many margaritas and all.

I know ships will have (most restaurants as well) 6-7 types of pee yellow nasty beer like Bud, Bud lite, Miller, Coors, Coors Ultra, Miller Lite etc and that is ALL basically the same beer. Most people especially the redneck crowd will argue a Bud lite is better than xyz same type beer its all the same corn and rice filler (adjuncts) these people love their beer extremely cold and why it kills the taste. Same people that drink White Zin and think its good wine.

What we need is a cruise devoted to Homebrewers. A good Steak, A good Lobster, and A good Homebrew. Now thats a Cruise!!!!

Get a grip...certain things I can expect the cabin steward to sort out before I take over a cabin ie, fart smell of previous occupant removed, change the sheets, hoover the carpet etc, But asking them to remove the "brew your own still" from my room is a step to far.

Plus that would only work on cruises of days 21+, those seven day ones don’t allow you enough time to smuggle the sugar on board or give you the fermenting time. Unless of course you are stealing all the little sugar packets from dining and buffet for your said still.

So what do you have now, a sugar shortage on ship for everyone’s coffee and tea, plus the trail of little bits of paper in your hurry to get them open to place in your still.

I accept all "specialist" cruises, Gay, Nude, under 10 only (thats what they can look like) or the Christian fundamentalists....but there are flaws in this idea

The cruise company can do the brewing and we can do the drinking. May have to work out the details, but just like the Paradise use to be non-smoking, we could have a ship that is stocked with only the brew made right on the ship. I know we will never have this so I will just stick to Tequila.
