My only cruise related gripe is that I don't leave until November 3rd.

1. I wish the cruise lines would change the shows more often since so many of us sail the same vessels often due to location.
It may seem like the dancers etc can do anything easily but it really does take alot of rehersal and practice to get those steps right. They need time to learn a new act while still doing the current one.
2. Do all of the ships' CD's attend seminars to get the same corny jokes, pranks, and skits? When you sail a lot, they tend to get a little old?
Yes they do get stale.
3. How can some of the larger ships (i.e., Freedom) handle the debarkation process so smoothly and quickly, while the smaller ships (i.e., Holiday and Celebration) take forever with the debarkation?
I will be curious to see this when we cruise in November. We have a flight out of Miami just after lunch so I hope debark goes smooth.
4. Why does it take so long for Carnival to decide on replacement ports and notify its passengers of changes in itinerary?
I was looking at this when a friend went on her first cruise aboard RCCL just as Dean was approaching. It does take too long to see the fact that Grand Cayman and Jamaica were going to get hit yet no word on changes til day before sailing.

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please don't let Kevin Bacon die.
You know, we haven't had a decent gripe around here in awhile.
And here's a good gripe:
Don't you get steamed when you get on your cruise only to find out that there is a big group onboard with you who will get priority for different venues throughout the cruise?
Now I'm not talking about the fiasco on the Carnival cruise of a week or so ago ... not that kind of big group ... but just a group maybe of a company's star salespeople, or a special interest group or whatever. These people get the lock on the lido deck for their private sailaway party ... maybe get a certain outside viewing area reserved for them on a certain day ... as the ship is sailing by glaciers or an active volcano. No one else can gain access to that viewing area, so everyone else has to crowd in on the remaining outside decks ... fighting for railing space.
Don't you think the cruise lines should be forced to disclose when there is a large group being hosted on any sailing that can also be booked by the general public?
I for one have been waiting for the sequel to David. I knew that he would come back like Rocky 12.
Count on this my friends, whenerever there is a legitimate gripe that needs defending, he will be there.
Wherever there is a poster who gets off base and needs a stern talking to, he will be there.
Whenever the board gets weak with complaints about T.P., yes, he will be there too.
Relax my fellow posters, the world is back in it's proper order. David is back, and I am one American who is just a little bit prouder for it.
David, wherever you have been, I hope it was good. You have been missed, and I know that I like others are grateful.
I have been hidden away in the rain and snow of Scotland for the past couple of weeks trying to plan the next cruise,,, it is so difficult.
Is it just my imagination (that can be debated) or are there so many lines and ships out there now, that choosing between them becomes so difficult
Based on places and lines that I want to see and lines I want to be on....My reading and searching so far has come up with, I can get a balcony cabin on a brand new "super liner" for less that I would pay for an outside cabin on a smaller ship, but the same line and with similar itineraries .
There appears to be one thing the bigger ships give you and that’s more for price,,but still so confused
