Belize is NOT an Island
Belize is a Central American country. Yes, there are islands as part of their territory; however, Belize City is not on an island.
On the CruiseMates home page, the "Cruise Picture of the Day" has this statement:
Quote:
Here's a shot of bustling downtown Belize City. These small Caribbean islands depend greatly on tourism to fuel their economy.
Who is the person that wrote this?
**Edited to remove negative remark.

AND it has a FABULOUS Indian Restaurant bang at the pier/terminal where the tenders dock. You cannot miss it, it's a small pink/red building with a wonderful selection of Indian grub! They serve an all-you-can-devour buffet for about $9 per person!!! YUMMIE!!!!
Anyone going to Belize MUST try that joint!

Have you ever tried their Indian Tacos? They serve them all over the island, but you cannot wear jeans at the table.
