Default Bar/coffee lounge hogs?

People who just sit around reading/knitting doing crosswords etc. in area where people go for a drink or a coffee but then can't get a seat because others are just sitting there buying nothing.

We find that in the buffet areas and people put their personal items on the other chairs, especially bothersome during breakfast or lunch time.. and of course it's always a window seat..Was delighted to see NCL has cards on several tables near the buffet reserving it for wheelchair, walker and other handicapped cruisers.Way to go NCL..

Default A place at the rail

Table hogs--another reason to eat in the main dining room!

I rarely miss a meal in the dining room but I do like to sample the buffet offerings. I've not had a problem finding a table.

Where I have trouble finding a place is at the craps table! If you are not a player don't stand at the rail!

The smoking tables by the Lido deck pool are the worst. Sometimes in passing by i would just like to sit and have a quick smoke, no dice, I have seem people arrive there early morning and when I come by later they are still there....makes you wonder why they cruise.

We had a long conversation about this before. We decided it is best to ask to share a table - although some people were a little uncomfortable about that.

It IS something that should be considered, but I know when we did our family reunion cruise the buffet area was the best place to meet because we could all sit & visit and eat what we pleased at the same time.

I can't stand the ones around the pool. They take the chairs right beside the pool an disappear or they sit and complain about the kids playing in the pool.

I have never had a problem getting a table in the buffet area. Sometimes it is busy, but I don't think I have ever not found a table either inside or at one of tables outside. It might not be exactly the best table, but everyone can't sit by the window all the time.

I don't really care if someone is reading, knitting, napping etc., whereever they choose as long as they are occupying the space and not claiming it for hours on end, by parking a flip flop or other such item down, then leaving, and expecting the chair to be available to them for the rest of the day.
