OK, I've taken a hit on that one elsewhere.

If people want pizza for breakfast, then go for it!

I remember one morning a long time ago in a far away place, having steak, eggs and fried onions and plenty of beer for breakfast.

lmao! Well, there are times I would not mind having booze for breakfast. I don't think my stomach would let me though.

If you want pizza for breakfast or, if you are on vacation, and don't have to work or drive then also have a cocktail or beer to go with it. I remember, a number of years ago, when we vacationed in Hawaii with my tavern owner brother, that we were drinking Bloody Mary's at 5:00 a.m.. It was a great time but something I wouldn't do on a regular basis.

My wife works off hours and usually isn't home before 12:30 a.m.. She doesn't go right to sleep and is usually awake until 2 or 3 a.m. and sometimes 4 or 4:30 a.m.. There are people we know that think it is TERRIBLE that she would still be in bed at 10 or 11 a.m.. When most people comment I politely ask them if they get home from work at 5:00 p.m. and go directly to bed? Almost all say no and understand. Then there have been a few, especially the ones who have to call around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m., that I have to be less "tactful" with. There was one "friend?" who I basically told off and doesn't call anymore. It's her loss.

So: If it fits your lifestyle and doesn't hurt anyone else then go for it. That's my philosophy.

Take care,
Mike

White Zin is a wonderful alternative for those who do not like wine.

Besides, Ladies say, if you got it, flaunt it........Why shouldn't guys!

Default out of hand and crotchety

The thread is called "Friends don't let friends..." (insert silly humor here)

And then some get all offended so basically we are back to "Nobody should ever tell anybody anything" unless it is going to hurt someone.

Good Lord, let there be humor in this world.

Friends don't let friends drink alone on cruises! Can we all agree on that?

Sid.

You should wear whatever you feel comfortable in as long as it adheres to the rules stated by the cruise. They don't put tags on sleeveless tees saying "can only wear if you have big muscles". I fortunately "do" have "guns" as they said but if I didn't and it was a comfortable shirt, I would wear it and not care what others thought about it as long as it was appropriate for the venue and rules. I don't think spandex on large bottomed women is attractive at all. I would rather stare directly into the sun for hours than those or speedos on men but it is not up to me to decide what someone else should or should not wear. C'mon folks, hopefully we are all adults and can understand we do not possess the right to tell someone else how to live their life. Have fun on your next cruise! It's all about relaxing and not fashion police...lol
