Do the Elderly and older group not realize that the young are on there vacation as...

I am new around here but i popped my head in here as i am just searching around anyways i have seen a lot of complaints about the kids and young people on cruises and how its there vacation and so on so forth but do the older/elderly not realize us kids are on the same vacation you are on? What gives you the right to be mean and rude to us or do things that are breaking the rules and such yet if we do it its WW3 and we need to be locked away in our rooms or not be allowed on cruises. Just some thought i am 21 and i have dealt with the elderly being rude and obnoxious and arrogant to me and others when i have gone on cruises and i don't think just because you are older it gives you the right to be mean or rude. Sorry just my Opinion. Its a pet peve of mine i hate the sence of entitlement some have.

Maybe you've been rude or obnoxious. I've sailed with spring breakers, never saw a problem other than the volume of college kids having fun and basically taking over the ship. The problem with younger children is parent's allowing them the right to be rude due to lack of manners, running, loud voices etc.

I haven't been rude or obnoxious thanks for making ASSumptions.

I have just noticed that some not all think they own the ship like i said entitlement is a pet peve.

Give me a younger crowd ANY day and that includes toddlers and their crayons and books in the MDR!

Everyone on a cruise is there to have fun and enjoy their vacation.

We all need to lighten up and let the young and the old have their fun.

I don't have problems with individual kids , teenagers or young adults.
But when they get together in a group all the rudeness and other bad behavior
starts to show up . One does it , then another suddenly the whole group behave like
wild animals. Then they start doing stupid things ,like blocking and congregating on the
stairs.

I have seen that exact thing with older cruisers as well. It is not just the younger ones that do this kind of thing. And actually we have seen more of this from the older set. Yes, I have seen some problems with kids from very young to late teens but some times it is response from older cruisers because they act as if they are the only ones entitled to do whatever, that the younger ones should not be able to cruise.

Everyone one on the ship paid to be there, or their parents paid for them to be there. Let's all try to get along.
