I retired at age 55 and aside from occasional medical problems I am enjoying life .

@Bruce - don't think I haven't thought about it. I'm an IT geek, I've certainly thought about landside ops at a minimum.

I know a guy who worked as a cruise CD and supposedly was bored and quit .

I would allways tell my kids (boreness comes from within ).

Being bored is something that I don't have time for.

I've had many interesting jobs .If one bored me I quit . I do not miss working but I do miss the people I worked with . I am in e-mail contact with many but due to physical limitations there I only a few that I get together with socially (their limitations,not mine) .
