Cruising Viking Normandie and Burgundy

My wife Jean and I are scheduled for the 14 day, 2 river French excursion in July 2004.
How are the water levels We were on the aborted Viking Europe Danube trip last August 2003) stopped by low water.
Has anyone been on either of these two ships?

I would be interested in your comments on the Normandy cruise from Paris to Honfleur. We're considering this for next spring. I just received schedules faxed from Viking and it looks like they'll be using a different vessel, the Viking Seine, for this itinerary next season.

From next year, they will use the Viking Seine,

The Viking Normandie will be replaced by the Viking Seine,(2001) the Viking Seine is exact the same as Viking Rhone or Viking Star
