We are taking our 16 and 18 year old sons on the Imperial Jewels China cruise this summer. They both like history and have travelled frequently, and I think the cruise will be a great opportunity for them. If your daughters are interested, do it. We've never regretted any of our travels with our sons, and at the risk of sounding like a commercial, the memories are priceless.
Re: Re: Daughters (16 and 22) on China River Cruise
I'd love to hear about your experience. While I've done a lot of ocean cruises with my daughters, I'm a little concerned that there won't be anyone else their age on the China River cruise--and they might get bored.
We don't go until July, but I'll be glad to report afterwards. We haven't done a river cruise before, but we have done European cruises with our sons (Med and Baltic) on smaller ships (so there were a limited number of activities on the ship for kids). We kept them busy with lots of shore excursions and the opportunity to shop for souvenirs.
