Go to the message board on bviwelcome.com . If the answer isn't already there
you will get a very quick reply to this question by the folks on that board.
We are going on Flying Cloud next Memorial Day /Staying at Ole Works Inn before and Hotel 1829 in St Thomas after..
Used to get really good BVI info on the Windjammer message board but it is closed down , the site I recommended is a treasure trove of information however.
Have a great time

Flying Cloud was abruptly retired in August or September of 2002. Look below and you will see a several part review I posted just two months earlier.
There are two places for you to go to get more details.
Message boards at windjammerfanclub.com and jammerbabe.com are frequented by many more experienced jammers and some windjammer staff.

The Flying Cloud brings back memories. July 1973 off the coast of Martinque.

A propeller shaft problem almost sinks the vessel. After propulsion is lost, water flooded the engine room and sea water rose to about 1 foot in the lower deck cabins. After a very long night, an ocean going tug tows the vessel back to Martinque. A cruise that I couild never forget.

Did you ever hear from anyone who was on that cruise?
