Just returned from a week on the Windsurf 3rdOct to 10Oct 2004, what a disaster 180 Deg, no way, we had a small complaint so we asked the Ships Host. He was as much good as a ash tray on a motor bike, we then tried to talk to the Hotel Manager another failure, we were then told that the Ships Captain would come and talk over our complaint we are still waiting for him to come and see us.The ship is in need of a good refurbishment getting a bit long in the tooth.The food was first class,the staff v good cabin steward 10+. The only members of the ships officers that took any attention to the passengers seem to be the 2 second officers they were very good.
Port of call v good but the trips were a rip off to short ,to expencive, wrong people running the trips.
Watch out for the Wine prices,they have a mark up of 700% yes this is correct 700%.dont get me wrong the cruise was good the company 1st class but Windstar need to learn a few lessons on customer care , at the moment they do not have any on the Windsurf.
