The Margarita Island Port, located in the Margarita Island, Venezuela, is one of three islands that make up Nueva Esparta State. If you are lucky enough to visit Margarita Island Port during the evening, enjoy the discotheques and bars that offer dancing and music all night long. The Piano Bar is one of the most popular with its tropical culture and music. If you are looking to win money, then the slot machines and casino will please you. To find the best beaches, visit the east coast of the island. You can swim, go snorkeling, scuba diving or even enjoy some fishing. You can rent equipment and boats right on the pier. Another natural destination to check out is the La Restinga National Park. It is a large park with numerous canals moving through the forest. You will want to take a boat ride through this region rather than trying to navigate it all on your own. Keep in mind that outside of the tourism area, most locals only speak Spanish.

For a lobster and seafood restaurant that is considered one of the best, visit Lobster Grill. Also, considered one of the finest restaurants is Nikkei, at the La Semana Hotel. It offers international cuisine including foods from Peru and Japan.
