Vieques Port is located on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. This very small island is located just between St. Kitts and Puerto Rico. It is a must see island if you have the chance to visit. Many love the island so much they come back and buy a second home here. The island is home to some 10,000 people and is about 55 square miles in size.

Once you leave the Vieques cruise terminal, you will walk out into a beautiful island full of lush green forests and white beaches. If you would like to start your trip by shopping, there are a few places to visit. You can buy virtually everything you want in Vieques port. For example, the art in Vieques is unique. Local artists create paintings, clothing, scarves and even beautiful jewelry. Some may even help you to customize a design just right for you.

Things to Do
The Vieques port is home to several beaches. Some come to sunbathe while others want to swim. The most popular beach goes by the name Playa Sun Bay. It is a large beach with plenty of space. You cannot camp here, but if you wish to do some camping, there is a section of the beach to do this. Snorkeling is available at this beach and most of the other beaches along the coastline.
Nature tours have become quite popular in the area, too. The Golden Heron Ecotours facility takes you out into the wilderness to find animals. You can also obtain canoes, kayaks or bikes to check out some of the hiking trails and waterways. There is also horseback riding available right along the Vieques port.
Restaurants and Bars
All that time out in the water and wilderness will make you hungry. Both formal and informal dining is available. Some of the restaurants offer a more traditional, local cuisine, including Coconuts Vieques, Island Café and Mar Azul. Others are great when you want something familiar, such as Castaways Pizza and William's Pizza. The Island Steak House offers a large menu of choices combining international foods and dishes using local spices and preparation methods. Do not forget about the roadside stands that offer some of the most common and tasty of foods in Vieques port.
