Cristal was originally built in 1980. Earlier, it was known by the names Sally Albatross and Viking Saga. This ship was renovated in 2007 and launched in July 2007 by Louis Cruises.
The Cristal cruise takes the passengers along the Greek Islands and Turkey. There are 400 crew members onboard, and the Cristal ship has a capacity to accommodate 1,200 passengers. Passengers from all age groups travel in Cristal, and most of them are of European origin.

Cristal cruise ship has a sleek design, and it offers high-density cruising with an informal environment. There are 9 passenger decks, each with different state-of-the-art facilities for the maximum enjoyment and comfort of the guests. Lounges, discos and exotic live performances by artists refresh the evenings.
There are different cuisines for passengers to choose from, and the cruisers can order any dish, ranging from English to traditional cuisines, in this Greek cruise ship. The Cristal ship is one of its kind and houses 2 conference rooms that can be connected. 4 elevators are provided in the cruise for easy movement of the passengers across the decks.
There are no formal nights on board, but guests can dress formally for the Captain’s Cocktail Party. There is always a doctor on call and a small hospital on deck 4. Further, Cristal also houses a Shorex office and a business center.
Cuisines
There are 2 main dining rooms that offer good choice of food at reasonable rates. Each of these rooms can accommodate 450 guests. These metropolitan dining rooms also have live performances during dinnertime. The passengers are provided with a variety of dining options:

Cabins
The Cristal ship houses 480 cabins, out of which 307 cabins offer ocean view and 10 cabins have balconies. There are 163 cabins towards the inside of the ship and 6 of them are disabled-friendly.
The cost of a double cabin ranges from $735 to $3,275 per person. All the cabins are air-conditioned and are equipped with modern basic amenities such as TV, telephone, attached bathrooms, WC and hair dryers. The lower beds in most of the cabins can be turned into queen beds.

Taking the Kids

Onboard fees
A gratuity is added to the account of each passenger at the rate of 8 Euros for people above 16 years of age and 4 Euros for children over 6 years of age. This amount can be adjusted.
