The elegantly and luxuriously designed Oceana cruise is part of the P&O cruises family. This ship has many modern amenities and entertainment facilities, which give the perfect holiday experience to the travelers. Multi-cuisine restaurants, staterooms with balconies, health and fitness facilities, bars with exotic wine tasting and recreational facilities for all age groups aim at providing the best cruising experience.

In summer, the Oceana ship sails to the Mediterranean and Scandinavia and in the winter to the Caribbean. The ship has eleven passenger decks and a capacity of around 2015 passengers. Almost 90% of the passengers are British, and the rest combine people from Europe. The voyage usually lasts for two weeks.

Dining

The restaurants on the Oceana offer a wide range of mouthwatering dishes. The Ligurian Restaurant allows freedom dining and the Adriatic club dining. Casual dining is also provided in other restaurants. Plaza Bistro serves Mediterranean-style dishes; several sea food varieties and buffet dinner are also available here.

Café Jardin is also a Mediterranean-style restaurant and offers food menus by the popular British chef Marco Pierre White. This restaurant also provides 24-hour dining facilities, and free ice-cream is served for everyday for half an hour, in the morning.

The Horizon Grill is located in the open deck and is meant for both small and large groups. It serves sea-food dishes and a variety of vegetarian dishes. The menus in these restaurants are changed once in every three to four days.

Cabins

The ship can accommodate almost 2015 passengers in its 1008 cabins spread over 11 decks. The cabins are well furnished and elegant. Almost 70% of the cabins have balconies and others have wide ocean-view screens.

Housekeeping services are provided round the clock. Twin cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with facilities such as television, telephone, radio, safe, bathroom with shower, refrigerator, writing desk, chair and a King-size bed that can be transformed into two single beds.

The mini suites have facilities like private balconies, sitting place, and bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower. Family cabins are also available with upper Pullman berths.

Taking the Kids

On board, there are special activities for children such as kids club, video gaming zone, finger painting, fancy dress shows, special parties and a dance floor. Separate staff members are allotted to take care of the kids.

Onboard Fees

The initial payment includes port charges, boarding charges, service charges and tips. Payment for onboard facilities must be made separately.
