Movies are shown every day with Movies Under the Stars on a 300-foot screen. Up to 4 movies a day can be shown.
2. Explore the Public Rooms
The central point of Ruby is the atrium, which features the Piazza, an international cafe that is open all the time. The Piazza serves sandwiches, tapas and delicious coffees. It has a stage for jugglers, magicians and costumed performers. The wine bar, Vines, serves wine by the glass. The library has comfortable leather chairs to relax in while reading one of the hundreds of books.
3. Nightlife
The Wheelhouse Bar has a dance floor, piano and nautical theme. Paintings and comfy chairs add to the ambiance. The Explorer's Club has an African safari theme with cabaret, art auctions and dancing. Trivia games are also held here.
The main room for production shows is the Princess Theater. Cabaret shows, magicians and comedians are among the entertainers. Gatsby's Casino is one of the more popular late-nights spots, with nearly 300 slots and table games. The casino is open until the early morning. The Club Fusion Show Lounge has interactive entertainment. Crooner's serves great martinis and features a pianist. The famous Skywalker's Nightclub is on Deck 18.
4. Unique Experiences
For passenger who want to learn about the technical workings of a ship, the Ultimate Ship Tour visits areas passengers don't usually see. The tour is 3 hours and includes the print shop, photo lab, engine room, the bridge and other areas that are off limits. Tour participants receive mementos of the tour.
The Hearts and Minds Wedding Chapel is perfect for a memorable wedding at sea. Princess allows guests to have their ceremony at the harbor before the ship sails, at sea or at a port on the cruise. The fee is all inclusive and the couple may have their reception at sea. A webcam allows family and friends to watch the ceremony live.
