He has also written for several other consumer and trade publications, including Budget Travel, The Economist, Travel Weekly, Parents and Air Transport World, and has been interviewed as a travel expert on ABC's World News Tonight, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC and other media. Before he started freelancing, he was the editor of an industry newsletter, Travel Management Daily.)
Luisa Frey Gaynor is our family
cruise editor. With the help of her daughter Alexandra -- who began cruising at seven years old and is today one of our teen message board moderators and article contributors. Luisa gives parents and grandparents real-life accounts on what their youngsters can expect from kids' programs and facilities at sea. Luisa also writes a regular column for USA-Today online.
Pat Hagan Pat is not only a veteran
cruiser but also the published author of over forty books of romantic fiction.
Several of her titles have appeared on the New York Times Bestseller list.
Rob Clemons Editor of the gay and lesbian section. If there was a name for cruise addiction he would be the head of its support group. He also volunteers with the local Gay and Lesbian Center as the Festival Coordinator for the gay pride festival, and currently in a domestic partnership relationship.
Rita Ippoliti Rita is our Holland America board Moderator. She became addicted to cruising while onboard Holland America's ms Rotterdam for a conference. But it didn't take more than an hour for her to fall in love with the whole idea of sailing the high seas. Before the end of the week, Rita had booked two more Holland America cruises, a back-to-back on the Zuiderdam for August and a 30-day Hawaii/South Pacific Voyage on the Amsterdam the following January.
Donna Belanger Donna Belanger is one of our Message Board monitors, her favorite being
"Chit Chat for Cruisers". She's been a CruiseMates regular for over five years now. Donna's husband introduced her to cruising in 1995, and she's been addicted ever since! She has now enjoyed 9 cruises, and isn't happy until the next one is booked!
Mike Mastellar is one of our Community Leaders. He helps moderate the message boards and does some other things behind the scenes. He loves cruising and has fourteen under his belt and is hoping to add a few more notches to that belt.
Donna Nye is one of our Message Board Monitors. Donna fell
in love with cruising after her first cruise on a Premier ship back in the mid
80's, and has been hooked ever since.
Mary Lou Scanlon is one of our Message Board Monitors. Mary
Lou admits the she is addicted to cruising. She only began her cruising life three
years ago and fell in love with the whole idea of cruising. In her humble opinion,
there just isn't a better way to vacation!
Linda Pearl is our Chat Hostess. Linda has been addicted to cruising since she first walked onboard a cruise ship back in the olden days -1990! Since then she has cruised at least once a year, and more when she can finagle it! In her opinion there is no better way to thoroughly enjoy a vacation.
