Two cruise lines are offering hot cruise deal incentives for family vacations

It’s a great time to schedule and book a family cruise. This Monday morning, two different cruise lines just announced special offers for kids to sail free in staterooms occupied by two adults; Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian’s deal, being offered through March 31, says that when you book a stateroom with two adults on a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise your kids get to sail free as long as there are two adult bookings in the same stateroom. But that's not all.

To make the deal even sweeter Norwegian is also offering free upgrades from oceanview cabins to balcony staterooms.  You also get over $300 in E-coupon values good for a variety of onboard services during your cruise.

Discounts are available for AARP members, people in the military and of course for members of the Norwegian Cruise Line Latitudes loyalty club for repeat cruisers.

Everyone booking this offer is eligible for a 50% reduction in the cruise deposit.

Royal Caribbean

The other cruise line, Royal Caribbean, also has a special offer running through March 31 which allows guests to choose from three different offers including kids sailing for free, complimentary upgrades and reduced deposits aboard certain ships sailing to Australia, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Caribbean and Europe. Your cruise must depart between May 1 and December 15, 2014.

Although it may be called a "Kids Sail Free" offer, this limited time bargain includes free cruise fares for any third and fourth guest of any age sailing in any stateroom made to accommodate three or four people, also known as a triple or quad stateroom. This offer is even good for the most popular Royal Caribbean ships including Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas which means kids can enjoy the FloRider surf simulators, ice-skating rinks, rock climbing walls and the cutting edge entertainment from DreamWorks Animation and the special Broadway shows shown on the newer ships.

But those are not the only ships included. In fact the "kids sail free" offer is available fleetwide except for Quantum of the Seas and Grandeur of the Seas. Just make sure that you book your cruises before all of the third and fourth berth staterooms are taken - because they are only available on a limited basis upon select sailings while the inventory lasts.

The complimentary offer includes a balcony stateroom for the same price as an oceanview stateroom on Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Jewel of Seas, Radiance of the Seas, and Serenade of the Seas, or an ocean view stateroom for the price of an interior stateroom on Enchantment of the Seas, Legend of the Seas, Rhapsody of the Seas, Splendour of the Seas, Vision of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas.

Everyone who books the aforementioned cruises are eligible for a 50% reduction in the cruise deposit, starting at $50 per person.
