Huatulco is a lovely little port. We didn't have much time there. We caught a cab for about $5 or less and went into town, Walked all around the square area and had a great lunch at a restaurant called "Oaxaca". This restaurant was less than a block from the town square on the side opposite to the church. It had great Oaxacan food and was as good or better than any of the great meals we had had in Oaxaca City itself, go figure! And we were in Oaxaca City for two weeks.Try one of the seven moles. You won't be sorry.
A day of leisurely strolling, touring, shopping, and a great lunch made for a very pleasant visit to Huatulco, at very little expense. We both would gladly go back to Huatulco again. Have fun!
